Taliouine is the optional temptation. Safran de Taliouine has an official designation of origin, giving one tiny spice a very specific power: it can make the road feel unfinished at Taroudant.

Go only if saffron and the extra distance sound exciting. Otherwise Agadir plus Taroudant already makes a strong compact trip.
